Become A Sports Bet Ohio Retailer

If you are not a current Ohio Lottery sales agent, you will need to contact the Ohio Lottery and complete the process of becoming a sales agent.  You must be an active Ohio Lottery sales agent for 90 before becoming a Sports Bet Ohio sales agent.  If you are already an Ohio Lottery sales agent and would like to be a Sports Bet Ohio sales agent, to be eligible you must meet the following requirements:

1. Have a valid Ohio Lottery sales agent license.
2. Be in good standing with the Lottery’s rules and regulations.
3. Have a written recommendation from the Ohio Lottery to be issued a Type-C Gaming License.
4. Not be a not-for-profit corporation or associate.
5. Have a valid D1, D2, or D5 liquor permit.

Licensed lottery sales agents who wish to apply for a Type C Sports Gaming Host license must apply through the Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC). The OCCC will issue licenses based upon the Lottery’s recommendation.  

Interested sales agents will be required to be in good standing with the Lottery’s rules and regulations and to obtain approval from the Lottery before applying for a license with the OCCC. 

Once licensed by the OCCC, Hosts will be able to enter into an agreement with Intralot to become a Sports Bet Ohio retailer and offer sports gaming in your venue.
